Putting mental health on the national health agenda

Our team attended and ran an exhibition booth at the JASH & NACNDC Conference 2026, the national conference on communicable and non-communicable diseases, sharing how mental health care belongs in the response to both.

Community campaign

Ebola Awareness Campaign

Our team took Ebola prevention messages to the streets around our clinic and into the community: how Ebola spreads, how to protect yourself and others, and where to get help early.

As a mental health clinic, we also spoke about the fear and stigma that outbreaks bring, encouraging people to stay calm, rely on trusted information and support survivors rather than isolate them.

  • Prevention: hand-washing, safe contact, safe food
  • How Ebola is (and is not) spread
  • Seek early medical care
  • Support survivors, avoid stigma

Beyond the numbers

Behind every figure is a person who found support, a student who gained real practice under supervision, or a community that talked openly about mental health for the first time.

We combine counselling, training, internships and partnerships so that care reaches more people, earlier, and is delivered by skilled and supported practitioners.
